Overview

Shimul Bagan is located in Tahirpur upazila, 28km away from the district town. This garden was built 14 years ago on 2400 decimals of land by a businessman named Joynal Abedin, because of his personal desire. In spring, it catches the eyes of the tourists when the flowers bloom together in over 2000 trees. One has to enjoy the beauty of Shimul by walking on the wide sandy area.the beauty of the green leaves of the trees captivate the tourists during the rainy season.

Itinerary

Day 1 :
BRTC Bus (AC) from Dhaka to Sunamganj. Arrived in Sunamganj at early morning.
Day 2 :
After reaching Sunamganj, we will have breakfast and leave for Shimul Bagan by pre-arranged vehicle. After that we will reach Shimul garden by small boat! This Shimul Bagan is spread over an area of ​​more than 100 bigha. In this garden on the banks of the Jadukata River in Tahirpur, the crimson glow of the shimul with its petals in spring will color anyone's mind. The beauty of the Meghalaya hills across the river will be a bonus. After roaming around and taking photos in Shimul garden, we will cross Jadukata River to Tekerghat, Niladri Lake. The beauty of the greenery next to this lake. Then the beauty of the Jadukata River water from the top of Barek Tila is bound to fascinate you. We will have lunch here if possible. Then return to Sunamganj and have dinner and travel by bus to Dhaka at night.
Day 3 :
Arrive in Dhaka at early morning.
