Overview
TRIBAL CULTURAL MUSEUM This is the only Tribal Cultural Museum in the Chittagong Hill Tractsregion. It was established at Rangamati town in 1978 and run by the Tribal Cultural Institute. Itpreserves valuable objects and articles of different tribes representing their socio-economic,cultural and historical tradition. They are typical tribal dresses, ornaments, arms and ammunitions,coins, statues made of wood, bronze and other metals, musical instruments, ivory products,
handicrafts, paintings on tribal life etc. SHUBHOLONG BAZAAR – Shubholong is one of the mostattractive scenic spots in Rangamati. Traditional boat is the only way to access the bazaar.Interestingly, the bazaar itself sets on little boats and is organized by the tribal people from thesurrounding areas. Local products like banana, beans, pineapples etc are the items available in themarket. RAJBONOBIHAR This is a pretty modern Buddhist Pagoda located in the town. The livenature of the pagoda and serene environment is very soothing. BOGA LAKE – Bogakain Lake, alsocalled Baga Lake or Boga Lake, is a lake located in Ruma Upazila in the hill district Bandarban,Bangladesh. It is a natural sweet and deep water lake. Its height from sea level is nearly 1,246 feet.
According to the myth this lake is the home of a Dragon. Local name of this lake is “Bogakain” lake.It is 12acres in size. The water of the lake is crystal clear and under the water there are rocks andboulders all over. On the way to Tajingdong, this makes a nice refreshing stop for the trekkers.Those who like trek must visit Boga Lake before leaving Bangladesh. Boga Lake added an extrafeather in our trekking and tourism sector. It is 65 km from Bandarban town and 15 km from Ruma Upazela.
