Overview

The Philippines, officially the Republic of the Philippines, is an archipelagic country in Southeast Asia. It is situated in the western Pacific Ocean and consists of around 7,641 islands that are broadly categorized under three main geographical divisions from north to south: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Manila, the capital of the Philippines, is a densely populated bayside city on the island of Luzon, which mixes Spanish colonial architecture with modern skyscrapers. Intramuros, a walled city in colonial times, is the heart of Old Manila. Boracay is a small island in the central Philippines. It’s known for its resorts and beaches. Along the west coast, White Beach is backed by palm trees, bars and restaurants. On the east coast, strong winds make Bulabog Beach a hub for water sports.

Itinerary

Day 1 :
Welcome to Philippins
Upon Arrival in Manila, Meet by our Representative and Transfer to Hotel. Check in hotel. Evening free for shopping and personal activities. Overnight in Manila.
Day 2 :
Old & New Manila Tour
Buffet breakfast in the hotel. Have a glance of the rich cultural and historical contrast of the Old and New Manila. Visit Rizal Park, the walled city of Intramuros and tour Fort Santiago. Proceed to San Agustin Church, on to Makati the financial and commercial district of today. Overnight accommodation.
Day 3 :
Manila to Boracay
Breakfast in the hotel. Check-out and transfer to domestic airport for flight to Caticlan, Boracay. Arrive Caticlan boat transfer to Boracay Island. Remaining day at leisure to enjoy the island. Overnight Boracay.
Day 4 :
Island Hopping Tour
Breakfast in the hotel. Explore and enjoy… Explore the whole island of Boracay and the small neighboring islands by motorboat.  Discover the other beaches away from the hustle and bustle of central Boracay. Picnic lunch in one of the islands will be served. Overnight Boracay.
Day 5 :
Boracay – Manila to Final Departure
Breakfast in the hotel. Check-out and transfer to Caticlan airport for flight to Manila. Arrive Manila and transfer to International airport  for your flight back home/END

When is the best time to travel to the Philippines?

The Philippines are hot year round due to the tropical climate however, the best time to travel to the country is between October through May which is the dry season. Monsoon season is from June – November.

Are the Philippines a family-friendly destination?

There are several attractions throughout the Philippines that will attract the whole family! With plenty of beautiful beaches, the ability to explore Manila, or view the Chocolate Hills in Bohol, there is something for the whole family.

The currency used throughout the country is the Philippine peso. Mastercard and Visa are widely accepted in major hotels and tourist attractions. In some tourist areas, you may be able to use US Dollars or Euros. It is always advisable to use local currency in cash when you are shopping from small/ street vendors.

Do I need a visa to travel to the Philippines?

A visa is not required when travelling from Canada or The United States as a tourist for up to 30 days. A passport is valid for 6 months after travel and an onward ticket is required.

What are the public bathroom facilities like?

Western sit-down toilets can be found in large hotels and some tourist areas but the standard option will be the squat-style toilet.
